Charles "Bob" Woodard, 82
Charles "Bob" Woodard, 82 of Wheelersburg, died Thursday November 25, 2010 at Concord Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was born May 2, 1928 in Peebles, Ohio to the late Joseph Edward and Lillian Hatfield Woodard. He was a carpenter and a Navy WWII Veteran and member of the American Legion. Along with his parents, Bob was preceded in death by 2 brothers; Joe Woodard and Phillip "Ab" Woodard.
Bob is survived by his sister Ruby Rhea of Sciotoville, a sister-in-law Charlotte Woodard of West Portsmouth, along with several nieces and nephews.
There will be graveside services 1:00 PM Monday November 29, 2010 at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Jeff Woodard officiating. Military rites will follow by James Dickey Post 23 American Legion. Family and friends will be gathering at the cemetery starting at noon. Arrangements are under the direction of the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth.
