Charoltte Marie Litteral, 78

Charlotte Marie Litteral 78 of West Portsmouth died Friday February 15, 2008 at Southern Ohio Medical Center. She was born August 19, 1929 in Marion, Ohio to the late Tim and Hazel Houston Caldwell. She was a homemaker, former owner of C&L Ceramic Shop in Hazard Ky, a member of First Christian Church, Eastern Star where she was a Past Matron and member of the White Shrine. Charlotte was also an avid sports fan.

Along with her parents Charlotte was preceded in death by her husband Charles Litteral Jr. whom she married July 31, 1949, a great granddaughter Riley Bartley, a sister Gloria Sharp and 2 brothers; Ben and Bob Caldwell.

Charlotte is survived by 6 children; Donna & Gene Bartley III of Pittsburg, Pa, Charles and Gloria Litteral II of Deshler, Ohio, Linda and Clayton Allen of Portsmouth, Barry Litteral of Ironton, Jackie "J.D." and Nellie Litteral of Hazard, Ky. and Diana and Bob Ratliff of Portsmouth, 14 grandchildren; Eugene Bartley IV, Erica Book, Heath Bartley, Geoff Litteral, Jennifer Litteral-Honeck, Elijah Allen, Melissa Allen, Nathan Litteral, Bridget Frantz, Casey O'Farrell, Miranda Litteral, David McIntire, Jessica Smallwood and Ashley Ratliff, 7 great grandchildren; Rachel Bartley, Lauren Bartley, Audrey Honeck, Alexis Allen, Jonah Allen, Kaylee Smallwood and Kara Smallwood.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Sunday February 17, 2008 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Rick Phillips officiating and interment in Scioto Burial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home form 6 to 8:00 PM on Saturday and 1 hour prior to the service on Sunday.
