Chauncey Carlene Harper, 63

Chauncey Carlene Harper, 63 of West Portsmouth died Monday, September 10, 2018 at Ohio State University Hospital in Columbus. She was born February 25, 1955 in Ashland, Kentucky to the late Carl Douglas and Ollie Perkins Dixon. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by several siblings.

Chauncey is survived by her husband; Roy Lee Harper Sr., who she married in 1981, a son; Roy Harper Jr., a daughter; Robyn Porter, foster daughter; Kea Park, 9 grandchildren; Baylee Harper, Cameron Harper, Jeremy Harper, and Chris Harper, Degory Park and Keannaha Park, Steeler Vanatter, Alex Hubbard and Addison Hall.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Sunday, September 16, 2018 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Tom Stacey officiating and interment in Vaughters Cemetery.
