Chris Parker, 55

David Christopher Parker, 55 of West Portsmouth died August 7, 2014 at SOMC Hospice. He was born December 5, 1958 in Portsmouth to the late George Franklin and Mary Jean Ward Parker. Along with his parents Chris was preceded in death by a brother Ron Parker. He was retired from B&B Loan and Jewelry. He was a member of American Legion Post 471, the Moose Lodge and the Eagles Lodge . Chris is survived by his friend and partner for 22 years Larry Rollins of West Portsmouth, a brother, Todd (Karen) Parker of Portsmouth, a sister Shelia (Ray) Ruggles of Wheelersburg, a sister in law Paula Parker of Wheelersburg, along with several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 8:00 PM Monday August 11, 2014 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Greg Carter officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 5:00 PM until the funeral hour. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the funeral home.
