Christa Vonn Jenkins, 70
Christa Vonn Jenkins, 70 of West Portsmouth died Saturday, February 24, 2007 at Southern Ohio Medical Center. Christa was born September 21, 1936 in Wolfe County Kentucky to the late Alton and Lola Banks Hammond. She was a homemaker, loved the Humane Society and doing anything with animals.
Christa is survived by her husband William F. Jenkins; a son David Legg; three daughters, Tammy Adkins, Tina Jenkins and Linda Wahls; three brothers, Jerry, Donald and Gary Hammond; nine sisters, Barbara, Patricia, Pricilla, Ruby, Jane, Marie, Terri, Brenda, and Mary; five grandchildren, three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Lonnie and Jim Hammond, and a sister Thelma Hammond..
Funeral services will be 11 A.M. Monday, February 26, 2007 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Rick Ratliff officiating and interment in Scioto Burial Park. Friends may call at the Funeral Home from 6 to 8 P.M. on Sunday and one hour before the service on Monday. Condolences may be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com.
