Christopher Leon Byrd, 44
Christopher Leon Byrd, 44, of West Portsmouth died Sunday, May 8, 2005 at his residence. Christopher was born December 10, 1960 in Lawton, Oklahoma to Ernest L. Byrd and Shirley Ruth Howe Hamilton and step father Hershel Hamilton. Christopher served in the Army Reserves and worked as a phone lineman.
Christopher is survived by two daughters, Bridgette Bryd and Sondra McNutt; two brothers, Wade Hamilton of West Portsmouth and Tom Hamilton of Lucasville; five sisters, Trudy Schmidt of Canada, Sharlene Byrd of Portsmouth, Suree Hamilton of West Portsmouth, and Lorin Hamilton of West Portsmouth.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 P.M. on Friday, May 13, 2005 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.Condolences may be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com
