Clara Louise James, 93
Clara Louise James, 93, of McDermott died Thursday, February 10, 2005 at Rest Haven Nursing Home. Louise was born November 12, 1911 in McDermott to the late Henry and Martha Taylor Hamer. She was a self employed restaurant owner, a member of the McDermott United Methodist Church and the McDermott Senior Citizens.
Louise was preceded in death by her husband Fred James, a brother Ralph Hamer and a granddaughter Vicki Lynn James. She is survived by two sons, Charles Louis James of Dayton, Kenneth Elwood James of Union; one daughter, Gwen Whitehouse of Grove City; seven grandchildren; several great and great, great grandchildren; and a special friend Kristi Smith.
Funeral services will be held 1 P. M. Tuesday, February 15, 2005 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Tom Little officiating and interment in Rushtown Cemetery. Friends may call at the Funeral Home from 2 to 6 P.M. on Monday and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday. Condolences may be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com.
