Clarence Rhoden, 69

Clarence Rhoden, 69 of Piketon went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, July 16, 2008 at his residence. Clarence was born February 18, 1939 in Greenup, Ky to the late James and Mary Ann Ulett Rhoden. Clarence had retired from Strawsers Paving in Columbus. He was proceeded in death by his son; Clarence (Steven) Rhoden, grandson; Austin Rhoden, granddaughter; Renee Weisel, brother Layton Rhoden and 2 sisters; Mildred Melvin and Kathy Rhoden.

Clarence is survived by his wife; Geneva Stone Rhoden, four sons; Brady Rhoden of Stout, Tony Rhoden of Lucasville, Kenneth Rhoden and Chris (Dana) Rhoden of Piketon, four daughters; Norma Thomas of Wheelersburg, Wilma McCoy of Portsmouth, Brenda (Dave) Weisel of Piketon and Teresa (Dan) Grebing of Sharpsville, Ind. 23 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren, 5 sisters; Ruth Kerns, Loraine Stone, Coraine Grubbs, Christy Melvin and Barbara Criswell, 3 brothers; John, Kenny and Denny Rhoden and a very special family that he loved so much Bobby Manley, Latrishia Manley and Braxton Smith. May you Rest in Peace Dad we all Love you and Will miss you! May God Bless You!

Funeral services will be 1PM Monday, July 21, 2008 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth, with George Vastine officiating and interment in Rhoden Family Cemetery.
