Clifford "Skip"Earl Stiverson, 84
Clifford "Skip" Earl Stiverson, 84 of Pond Creek , West Portsmouth died Monday, July 17, 2006 at Select Specialty Hospital in Columbus. Skip was born August 13, 1921 in Hocking County, OH to the late Noah and Effie Belle Stiverson. He was a member of Holy Trinity Church, worked at Detroit Steel; was a WWII Army Veteran, and a lifetime member James Dickey Post 23 American Legion.
Clifford is survived by his wife Magdalen Catherine Montavon Stiverson; five sons, Tom Stiverson of Portsmouth, Bill Stiverson (Pam) of Lucasville, John Stiverson (Mary) of West Portsmouth, Steve Stiverson (Edie) of Blanchester, Perry Stiverson (Terri) of West Portsmouth; one daughter Jane Stiverson Lute (Bruce) of West Portsmouth; 17 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Elmer and John Stiverson of Sugar Grove and Hobart Stiverson of Rock Bridge.
Funeral services will be 11 A.M. Thursday, July 20, 2006 at Holy Trinity Church on Pond Creek with Father David Young officiating and interment in Holy Trinity Cemetery. There will be Graveside Military Rites by the James Dickey Post 23 American Legion. Friends may call at the Roger W.
