Clovis R. Journey, 71 Clovis R. Journey, 71 of West Portsmouth died Friday January 31, 2014 at his home. He was born August 20, 1942 in Scioto County to the late Clovis and Ruth Sparks Journey. Clovis was retired from Martin Marietta and was a carpenter for the State of Ohio Forestry Division. He was also a former member of the Nile Township Volunteer Fire Department. Along with his parents Clovis was preceded in death by a brother Daniel Journey and a sister Pat Deikert. Clovis is survived by a son Clovis Allen Journey of Sugar Grove, a step daughter Kathy Wroten of Columbus, 2 brothers; Darrell (Margaret) Journey of West Portsmouth and Jerry (Beverly) Journey of Columbus. There will be graveside services 11:00 AM Wednesday February 5, 2014 at Friendship Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth.
