Clyde Leroy McGraw, 83
Clyde Leroy McGraw, 83 of West Portsmouth, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday January 24, 2016. He was born July 17, 1932 in Scioto County to the late William and Marietta Pearl Blair McGraw. He was a United States Army veteran of the Korean War. He retired from the Scioto County Highway Department where he was an operator. He was also a member of Victory Baptist Church in West Portsmouth. After his retirement, Clyde loved to Flea Market and loved all his flea market buddies. He had a great testimony and a great love for God, his church and his family. He was loved by all that knew him. Along with his parents Clyde was preceded in death by a son Barry Leroy McGraw and 3 brothers; Frank, Billy and Raymond McGraw.
Clyde is survived by his wife of 62 years, Betty Jean Howell McGraw, who he married on April 26, 1954, 3 sons; Stephen McGraw of Columbus, Randy (Gwen) McGraw and Brian (Ruby) McGraw both of West Portsmouth, a daughter Cindy (Keith) Enyart of Pensacola, FL, 2 brothers; Herbert McGraw of Ft. Walton Beach, FL and Doug McGraw of Portsmouth, 2 sisters; Mabel Vasser of Smith Lake, VA and Vaunda "Sis" Zuffle of McDermott, 12 grandchildren; Paul Hackworth, Stephen McGraw, Joel Harold, Randy McGraw Jr., Jennifer Mullens, Amanda Strait, Brandon Enyart, Megan Boyce, Brian McGraw, Jr., Jason McGraw, Ashley Charlton and Miracal McGraw, 12 great grandchildren and many friends.
Funeral services will be 1:00 Thursday January 28, 2016 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Pastor Paul Gibson and Chris Zuffle. Interment will be in Scioto Burial Park with graveside military rites by the James Dickey Post 23 American Legion. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 to 7:00 PM on Wednesday and 1 hour prior to the service on Thursday. Condolences may be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com
