Connie Cottrell, 71

Connie Shepherd Cottrell, 71 of West Portsmouth, died Tuesday August 19, 2014 at SOMC Hospice. She was born September 14, 1942 in Radford, Virginia to the late Norman L. and Mary Frances Hight Shepherd. Along with her parents Connie was preceded in death by 2 sisters; Linda Shepherd and Brenda Cottrell. Connie is survived by a nephew, Michael (Susan) Cottrell of West Portsmouth a niece, Kimberly (Roger) Shope of McDermott, great nieces and nephews; Michael, Matthew and Megan Cottrell, Brittany Grassel, Amber Dunlap, Crystal Webb and Kelsey Shope, great great nieces and nephews; Brihanna and Kingston Grassel, Kaiden Blevins, Abby and Boston Webb, along with many friends. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Friday August 22, 2014 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth and interment in Scioto Burial Park.
