Connie Jo Murphy, 57, of New Boston died Thursday June 3, 2004 at Southern Ohio Medical Center. Connie was born August 10, 1946 in Portsmouth, Ohio to the late Cecil Ray and Peachie Marie Shively Murphy.  Connie was preceded in death by her husband Lonnie D. McMillen , brother Howard Cecil Murphy and sister Betty Murphy.

Connie is survived by two daughters, Debbie Sue Breech of Portsmouth, and Teena (Randy) Holsinger of Manchester; Two Lovely Grandchildren, Stacy Marie Wright of West Portsmouth and Randall Lee Holsinger II of Manchester; six sisters, Clarabell (Jonas) Blevins of Friendship, Anna Haynes of Friendship, twin sister Bonnie (Homer) Doss of Columbus, Jean (Willie) Doss of Minford, Margaret (Darrell) Journey of West Portsmouth, Susie (Mark) Flannery Henderson of Blue Creek. Special friends Steve and Molly Thrasher, Jennifer and Jeffery Dale Mosley.  Special nieces Valerie, Jamie, Teton, Billie, and Tiffany; special nephews, Johnny, Howard, Howlie, and Jeremiah along with several other nieces and nephews, cousins, friends and relatives.  She will be sadly missed by beloved friend Rocky Dyer and Homecare Nurse Karen Haskins.

Funeral services will be held 12 noon Monday, June 7, 2004 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Buster Jenkins officiating and Internment at McKendree Cemetery. Friends may from 5 to 9 PM Sunday at the Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service on Monday. Condolences may be sent to the family at
