Creola Lorraine McAllister Hall, 92

Creola Lorraine McAllister Hall, 92 of West Portsmouth, died Tuesday July 15, 2008 at SOMC Hospice. She was born August 16, 1915 in Pike County to the late Elmer D. and Helen Chesnut McAllister. Creola was a graduate of Portsmouth Interstate Business College and managed the Artwill Dress Shop in Portsmouth for 30 years. She also attended Bethel Methodist Church. Along with her parents Creola was preceded in death by her husband William B. Hall whom she married in August of 1936, a daughter Mary Hall and a daughter-in-law Sharon D. Hall.

Creola is survived by 2 sons; Jerry (Patsy) Hall and Nick Hall both of West Portsmouth, 2 daughters; Judith Stevenson and Vickii Mullins both of West Portsmouth, a sister Betty Beekman of Peebles, 9 grandchildren; Debra Hall, Lisa Davis, Michelle Williams, Sue Reames, Brian Hannah, Robert Mullins Jr., Mark Hall, Dean Hall and Aaron Hall along with 15 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Saturday July 19, 2008 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Rick Phillips officiating and interment in Scioto Burial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 to 8:00 PM on Friday and 1 hour prior to the service on Saturday. The family's favorite charity is SOMC Hospice.
