Dainelle "Dainey" Tackett, 58

Dainelle "Dainey" Tackett, 58 of Lucasville, died Saturday April 8, 2023, at her home. She was born September 28, 1964, in Xenia, Ohio to Edith E. Howard Tackett and the late James D. Tackett.

Throughout her life, she took care of and loved many children like her own, including several nieces and nephews.  She loved 80s music, especially the band Winger, cooking, and doing needle point and crochet. She was always full of life and was very loved.

Along with her mother, she is survived by 3 brothers, Anthony Tackett, James (Karen) Tackett, and Aaron Tackett; 5 sisters, Elaine (Bob) Edmisten, Laura (Bruce) Meyer, Nikki (Gene) Payne, Tara (David) Dryden, and Heather (Brad) South; a close nephew Rory Havens; a close niece Bri (Joe) Ayers; and many special nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held 1:00PM Thursday April 13, 2023, at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth. Interment will be in Big Run Cemetery.
