Dallas Clifford Stepp, 79
Dallas Clifford Stepp, 79 of Portsmouth died Tuesday, February 20, 2007, at his residence. Dallas was born August 6, 1927 in Delbarton, West Virginia to the late Burgess Doc and Mattie Varney Stepp (Copas). He was a guard at SOCF, was a member of the Pentecostal Church and a WW II Army Veteran.
Dallas was preceded in death by his first wife Juanita Ruth Murphy Stepp. He is survived by his wife Virginia Lee Setters Stepp; one daughter, Phyllis Spires; three sons, Roger, Kent and Gary Stepp; four stepsons Larry L., William L., Gerald F., and Phillip P. Vassar; two sisters, Helen Riggs and Lula Evans; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Delno and Thomas Stepp and two sisters, Kathleen Rich and Ladona Blevins.
Funeral services will be 1 P.M. Thursday, February 22, 2007 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home with David Blevins officiating and interment in Friendship Cemetery. Graveside Military Rites will be given by James Dickey Post 23 American Legion. Friends may call at the Funeral Home from 11 to 1 P.M. Condolences may be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com.
