Daniel J. McGlone, 49 of Wheelersburg, died Saturday, May 27, 2023. He was born May 16, 1974 in Portsmouth to the late Jerry McGlone and Patricia Jackson Hamilton who survives.

Along with is father he was preceded in death by his father in law David Grooms.

Along with his mother Patricia, Daniel is survived by his wife, Virginia Michelle Grooms McGlone, whom he married on October 30, 2000,  3 sons: Justin (Darla) Mabry, Jacob McGlone and Brady Stover, 4 daughters: Hayley McGlone, Mikayla McGlone, Destiny (Alex) Stanley and Keshia Grooms, mother in law, Mary Grooms,  2 brothers: Jeremy (Karla) McGlone and Shane McGlone, 2 cousins that were like his sisters: Sara Ehrhart and Tammy Miller, 11 grandchildren and one on the way: Alanna, Katon, Skylar, Logan, McKenna, Owen, Kelee, Kameron, Summer, Audri and Axxel, along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM Friday, June 2, 2023 at The Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Terry Wagner officiating. Interment will be in Vernon Cemetery.
