Darlene Evelyn Moore, 79

Darlene Evelyn Moore, 79 of Portsmouth, died Monday August 15, 2022 at Best Care nursing home in Wheelersburg. She was born October 14, 1942 in Portsmouth to the late harry and Mabel Hall McLucas.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by a brother Ted McLucas, 2 sisters: Judy and Lynn Dina and a niece Carolyn Gray.

Darlene is survived by a son Harscel (Diane) Harris, 2 daughters: Carolyn Brown and Sherry (Rick) Swords, a sister, Shirley Gray,, 4 grandchildren: Jennifer Brown, Tim (Ashley) Brown, Jessie (Donald) Mullins and Rickey Swords, 10 great grandchildren: AJ Brown, Deshawn Parker, Austin Barber, Ashton Barber, Colton Mullins, Timmy Brown, Zackary Brown, Abigail Brown, Kayelynn Swords and Layla Swords.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday August 18, 2022 at Vaughters Cemetery in West Portsmouth. Family and friends will gather starting at 12:30 PM. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in west Portsmouth.
