Darlene Tumbleson, 84

Darlene Tumbleson, 84 of West Portsmouth, died Friday October 4, 2013 at her home. She was born March 24, 1929 in Vanceburg, KY to the late George Edward and Edna Davis Bloomfield. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist Faith. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Eugene Tumbleson who she married in 1948 in Greenup, Kentucky, 6 brothers; Herman, Howard, Carl, Hubert, Hobert and Harold and 2 sisters; Irene Ealey and Loraine Hobbs.

Darlene is survived by a daughter; Sandra Louise (John) Conley of Aberdean and a  son David Eugene (Tonya) Tumbleson of West Portsmouth, a sister Delores Hall of New Boston,  4 grandchildren; Brian (Martha) Conley, David (Sara) Tumbleson, Joshua Tumbleson and Jeremiah Tumbleson, along with 10 great grandchildren.

There will be private services held at the convienance of the family with burial in Brea Chapel Cemetery. The family requests donations be made to SOMC Hospice and to the Gideon Bible program.
