David Duane Boland, 83 ,

David Duane Boland, 83, of Stout, died Friday February 9, 2018 at his daughter's home. He was born June 20, 1934 in Buena Vista to the late John Willard and Gertrude Ione Francis Boland. He was a United States Army veteran and worked construction. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Mildred Irene Hayslip Boland who he married on August 10, 1985, 2 brothers; Donald Lewis Boland and Larry Eugene Boland and a special aunt Dorothy Boland.

David is survived by 3 daughters; Sharon (Ken) Mundhenk, Deborah (Larry) Drake and Donja Spencer, 2 brothers; Dwight Boland and Terry Dale Boland, 8 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild, along with several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Monday February 12, 2018 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with reverend Gary Hopkins officiating. Interment will be in McKendree Cemetery with graveside rites by the James Dickey Post 23 American Legion. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday starting at 11:00 AM.
