David Lee Davis, 70

David Lee Davis, 70 of West Portsmouth, died Monday April 17, 2017 at Southern Ohio Medical Center. He was born April 20, 1946 in Portsmouth to Howard Davis and the late Mary Lee Bailey Davis. He graduated from Portsmouth West High School in 1964. He was a United States Navy Veteran serving from 1964 to 1968. He was stationed in Charleston, SC. He loved his children and grandchildren.

David is survived by his wife Janice Shepherd Davis, who he married on June 1, 1964, his father Howard Davis of Otway, 2 brothers; Ronald (Marilyn) Davis of Lucasville, Gary (Emma) Davis of West Portsmouth, a son Matthew (Caroline) Davis of Portsmouth, 2 daughters; Patricia Davis and Amanda Davis both of West Portsmouth. He has several grandchildren; Alexander Addis and Riley Addis of Columbus, Siera Davis, Tyler Thompson, Brayln Newman all of West Portsmouth, Drakon Davis, and Alucard Davis both of Portsmouth.

Funeral Services will be 1:00PM Saturday April 22, 2017 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth. Interment will be in Davis Family Cemetery with military graveside rites by the Lucasville American Legion Post # 363. Friends may call the funeral home on Saturday starting at 11:00AM.
