David Mitchell Galloway II, 50

David Mitchell Galloway II, 50 of West Portsmouth, died Saturday, July 31, 2021 at his home. He was born May 5, 1971 in Sandusky, Ohio to the late Sandra Craig Galloway and David Mitchell Galloway Sr. who survives. Along with his mother he is preceded in death by a brother Paul Craig. Mitchell was a member of the Operator Engineers Local #18 where he was an operator for 26 years, he was also a member of the Sons of the American Legion Post 23. He was a big fan of racing and Shawnee State ball games.

Along with his father he is survived by his wife and best friend, Julia Mosley Galloway whom he married January 23, 2012, 2 sons; Devin and Bailey, brothers; Christopher (Danya) Galloway and Bobby Craig, a sister in law Caroline (Missy) Leininger, special cousin, David Linkous, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be 6:00 PM Wednesday August 4, 2021 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Pastor Pete Shaffer officiating and interment in Scioto Burial Park.
