David E. Leadingham, 77

David E. Leadingham, 77 of Minford, died Wednesday January 4, 2017 at Southern Ohio Medical Center. He was born October 14, 1939 in Portsmouth to the late George and Vesta Boggs Leadingham. Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Betty Waddell Leadingham and his brother Elmer Leadingham. David retired from Tom Barbour Auto Parts after 38 years, a member of the National Guard, Elks for 49 years, NRA, UTC, Candy Run Baptist Church, and was an avid golfer.

He is survived by his son Mark E. Leadingham of Portsmouth, 2 daughters; Carolyn (Rick) Porter of Minford, Kathy Schiltz of Wheelersburg, 3 sisters; Evelyn Morris of Franklin, OH, Rosemary Malone of Portsmouth, and Barbara Thompson of Lucasville, 3 grandchildren; Ryan Grooms, Sarah Grooms, and Justin (Brittani) Schiltz, 2 great grandchildren; Hannah and Landon Schiltz.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 am Monday January 9, 2017 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with David Thompson and Arvil Murray officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Burial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 to 8:00 pm on Sunday and one hour prior to the service on Monday.
