David Lee Monroe, 29
David Lee Monroe, 29 of Portsmouth, went to be with the Lord Friday May 2, 2008 in Ironton, Ohio. He was born June 9, 1978 in Portsmouth. He was preceded in death by an aunt; Janet Monroe-Craft of Portsmouth, an uncle; Bobby Ray Monroe of Portsmouth and his grandmother who helped raise him Sylvia Hammonds-Monroe of West Portsmouth.
David is survived by his mother Donna Priode of Portsmouth along with several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday May 6, 2008 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with William Riggs officiating and interment in Stoney Run Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11:00 AM till the funeral hour. Condolences may be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com
