David L. Yuenger, 86

David L. Yuenger, 86 of Stout died Friday April 5, 2013 at his home. He was born January 26, 1927 in Portsmouth tot the late Ralph and Lennis Beekman Yuenger. He was the former owner and operator of West End Electric. He was a WWII Army veteran and member of Rome Masonic Lodge #535 and a 32 Degree Mason. He was a member of the Grace Community Church at Bigelow. Along with his parents David was preceded in death by his wife Delores Faye Boggs Yuenger who he married August 27, 1950 in Portsmouth, 2 sons; Daniel Kent Yuenger and David Brent Yuenger and a brother Billy Yuenger.

David is survived by a daughter and son-in-law Melinda and Rick Carrington of Stout, a daughter-in-law Anita Yuenger of Portsmouth, 4 grandsons; Nicholas (Rachael) Carrington of Cedarville, and Adam (Emily) Carrington of Waco, TX., David Perry Burton and Daniel Kent Burton both of Portsmouth, a brother Donald Yuenger of Portsmouth and a sister Joan Call of Jackson.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday April 9, 2013 at Grace Community Church at Bigelow with Gary Chaffins and Kevin Hay officiating. Friends may call at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth from 5 to 8:00 PM on Monday. Burial will be in Rushtown Cemetery.
