Delbert R. Vogler, 83
Delbert R. Vogler, 83, of West Portsmouth, died Friday December 10, 2004 at Heartland of Portsmouth. He was born January 31, 1921 in Portsmouth to the late Harley M and Frances Johnson Vogler. He worked for 35 years at Distel Furniture and retired from Washington-Nile school district. Delbert was a WWII Army veteran where he was in the Medical Core and was a member of the James Dickey Post #23 American Legion.
Delbert is survived by his wife Stacie King Vogler who he married on May 3, 1947 in Portsmouth, one son, Dee and wife Kathy Vogler of West Portsmouth, a daughter, Debbie and husband Eddie Salsbury of York, Penn., 5 grandchildren; Mike and wife Christine Salsbury, Matt Salsbury ,Amy Salsbury, Chris and wife Stephanie Vogler and Jennifer and husband Adam Bailey, 4 great-grandchildren; Austin, Madison, CJ and Dani.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Condolences may be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com . Arrangements under the direction of the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth.
