Delores Faye Yuenger 78
Delores Faye Yuenger 78 of Stout, died Thursday, July 22, 2010 at SOMC Hospice.
Faye was born September 14, 1931 in Portsmouth to the late James and Myrtle Nichols Boggs. She was a member of the Bigelow Church in Portsmouth, a Bridge Club member for 53 Years and a secretary for West End Electric. Faye was preceded in death by two sons; Daniel Kent Yuenger and David Brent Yuenger and one sister; Betty Perkins.
Faye is survived by her husband; David L. Yuenger whom she married August 27, 1950 in Portsmouth, one daughter; Melinda (Rick) Carrington of Stout, daughter-in-law; Anita Yuenger of Portsmouth, one sister; Wilma "Tommy" Stewart of Cleveland and two grandchildren; Nicholas Carrington of Stout and Adam (Emily) Carrington of Waco, TX and special nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held 11am, Saturday, July 24, 2010 at Bigelow Church with Pastor Steven Schueren officiating and interment in Scioto Burial Park. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to SOMC Hospice, SOMC Home Health Care or to the Bigelow Church in Faye's honor. Friends may call at the Church from 10am until the funeral hour on Saturday. Arrangements are under the direction of the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth.
