Dennis James Litz, 60

Dennis James Litz, 60 of West Portsmouth, died Friday November 24, 2017 at his home. He was born January 12, 1957 in Portsmouth to the late James Elmer Litz and Lovella Porter Litz who survives. He worked in the custodial department at Shawnee State University for 33 years. He was member of Washington Township Volunteer Fire Department and was a former driver for Squad 9.

Along with his mother Lovella, Dennis is survived by his wife Katherine Stone Litz who he married on October 9, 1976, a son Aaron James (Stacey) Litz, a brother Darren (Shelly) Litz, 2 sisters; Denise (Gene) Shoemaker and Donita (Brent) Powell, 5 grandchildren; Shaela, Skyler, Joey, Hannah and Rebekah and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at Scioto Burial Park in McDermott. Arrangements are under the direction of the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth. Condolences may be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com.
