Dennis C McCall 83 of West Portsmouth, died Friday, July 2, 2010 at Southern Ohio Medical Center. Dennis was born August 6, 1926 in Portsmouth to the late Charles William and Lillian Elizabeth Walden McCall. He was retired from the Goodyear Atomic Corporation after 35 years of service, an Army WWII Veteran and loved farming.



Dennis is survived by his wife; Virginia Montavon McCall whom he married on May 9, 1953 in McDermott, one son; Larry Wayne McCall of West Portsmouth, two daughters; Patricia (Aaron) Abramsky of Marietta, Ga and Beverly (William) Malone of West Portsmouth, two brothers; Kenneth (June) McCall of Portsmouth, Richard (Karen) McCall of Jackson, five sisters; Joan Kizer of Portsmouth, Judith (Glenn) Kizer of Portsmouth, Eileen Hornung of West Portsmouth, Shirley Chamberlin of Portsmouth and Sharon (Joseph) Buchanan of Dallas, TX and two grandchildren; Joshua Richard McCall and Allison Abramsky of Marietta, Ga.



Funeral services will be 1PM Monday, July 5, 2010 at the Roger W Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth, with Father David Young officiating. Interment Will be in Holy Trinity Cemetery with graveside military rites by the James Dickey Post 23 American Legion. . Friends may call at the funeral home from 11 until the funeral hour on Monday.
