Dennis Michael Winters, 59

Dennis Michael Winters, 59 of West Portsmouth, died Friday July 16, 2021 at Southern Ohio Medical Center. He was born February 4, 1962 in Portsmouth to Donald Robert and Jean Ann Metzger Winters.

Dennis worked for the City of Portsmouth. He was a drummer and loved to work. He was also a member of the "Smokey River Band".

Along with his parents, Dennis is survived by his wife, April Carr Winters who he married on August 3, 2000, 2 sons; Dennis Michael Winters II and Chad Carr, 3 daughters; Destiny Winters, Danielle Winters and Megan Nichols, 3 brothers; Donald Winters Jr., Mark Winters and Paul Wayne Winters, 2 sisters; Donna Jean Wear and Marsha K. Hart, 6 grandchildren; Arizona, Aleicia, Trey, Devon, Drake and Jeremy, 1 great grandson, Lukas, along with several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Danny Thompson officiating and interment in Scioto Burial Park.
