Dennis Crawford Young, 49

Dennis Crawford Young, 49 of Portsmouth, died Sunday December 19, 2021 at Southern Ohio Medical Center. He was born January 17, 1972 in Portsmouth to the late Danny and Carolyn Newman Young.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by 3 sisters; Tina, Angela and Robin Holsinger along with his aunt Nancy Staggs.

Dennis is survived by a son Christopher Young, 3 daughters; Heather (Justin) Grant, McKenzie Young and Stephanie (Brandon) Keaton, 2 brothers; Ralph Young and Eugene Holsinger, 4 grandchildren; Alexis Davis, Torie Milstead, Landon Milstead and Brandon Keaton Jr., mother of his children Stacey Purdy, several nieces and nephews and a special cousin Christy Justice.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family with Gary Newman officiating and interment in Rushtown Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Roger W. Davis Funeral home in West Portsmouth. Condolences may be set to www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com.
