Denny Lee Howard, 60

Denny Lee Howard , 60 of Lucasville , died Saturday October 22, 2022 at SOMC Hospice. He was born April 4, 1962 in Portsmouth, to the late William and Rettie Blair Howard.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his lifelong companion Mary Newman, a brother John Howard, 4 sisters: Goldie Howard, Clorine Marshall, Cora McGraw and Lilly Perkins.

Denny is survived by 3 daughters: Stephanie Howard, Lisa Journey and Traci Hatfield, a son James Newman, 2 brothers; James and Benny Howard, 3 sisters: Mary Hayes, Bonnie May and Ruth Howell, 9 grandchildren: Tristan Kingrey, Unique Winters, Mark Winters III, Jerry Lee Cullum, Andrew Cullum, Samantha Cullum, Brock Journey, Bralyn Newman and Cianna Newman along with several nieces, nephews and friends.

Graveside services will be 4:00 PM Thursday, October 27, 2022 at Candy Run Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth.
