Deuce Evans , 46
Jerry "Deuce" Evans II 46 of West Portsmouth died Monday July 10, 2006 at his home. Deuce was born April 14, 1960 in Portsmouth. He is the son of Jerry Lee Evans I of West Portsmouth and Shirley and Stan Jennings of Lucasville. He was a 1978 graduate of Portsmouth West High School and retired from Southern Ohio Correctional Facility and was an avid sports fan.

Deuce is also survived by 3 daughters; Sarah (Nathen) Richardson of Wheelersburg, Leah Evans of Sciotoville and Jerrica Evans of McDermott and a close friend who was like his daughter Laura Flannery of Franklin Furnace. 2 sisters Cheryl (Michael) Lackey of West Portsmouth and Barbie Jennings of Lucasville, 2 grandchildren Blake and Jacob Richardson. He was preceded in death by grandparents Lafe and Luella Crowder and Ray and Jeri Hamm.

Funeral services will be 11:00 am Friday July 14, 2006 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Reverend Gary Heimbach. Interment will be at Scioto Burial Park. Friends may call at the Funeral Home on Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM and 1 hour prior to the service on Friday.
