Devon Thomas Simon, 2 of Columbus, died Friday, December 31, 2004 at Children's
Hospital in Columbus. Devon was born November 7, 2002 in Columbus to Tobias T. and Melinda Yvonne Barker Simon.
In addition to his parents, Devon is survived by a sister, Cadence Simon; Grandfathers Thomas Simon and James Wilson Barker, Jr; grandmothers, Nancy (Thomas) Partlow, and Sandra Yvonne Sarrell; great grandparents, Patchy and Don Waddell and Pauline and Jim Barker, Sr., and Iva Tylor: and Aunt Ashley Hall and an uncle Zake Simon.
Funeral services will be held 2 P.M. Tuesday, January 4, 2004 at Friendship United Methodist Church with Pastor Danny Powell officiating and interment in Friendship Cemetery. Friends may call at the Church from 12 to 2 P.M. on Tuesday. Arrangements are under the direction of the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth.
