Dolores F. Yelley, 87
Dolores F. Yelley, 87 of Lucasville died Monday January 6, 2014 at SOMC Hospice. She was born August 13, 1926 in Portsmouth to the late Edgar and Mollie Reeder Carr. She worked at Williams Shoe Company for 20 years and retired from the Scioto County Joint Vocational School after 20 years of service. She was a member of Rubyville Community Church. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by a husband Herman Guthrie Sr., 2 stepsons; Herman Guthrie Jr. and David Wayne Pollard, a stepdaughter, Phyllis Pollard Ramey, a brother William Carr and a sister Mary Carr Shuter.
Dolores is survived by her husband Carl Leroy Yelley who she married on February 8, 1975, a son Gary (Ginny) Pollard of Florida, 2 daughters; Mary (Steve) Harr of South Shore, Heather (Scott) Reeves of Tuscan, AZ, 3 stepsons; Michael Yelley of Minford, Robert Yelley of Lucasville and Gary (Marlene) Yelley of South Shore, a step daughter Carol Berger of Dublin, several grandchildren and great grandchildren and several step grandchildren and great grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews.
There will be graveside services 12:00 Noon on Friday January 10, 2014 at South Webster Cemetery. The family requests any donations be made to Rubyville Community Church or SOMC Hospice.
