Dolores  Spurlock, 79

Dolores Keyser Spurlock, 79 of West Portsmouth died Tuesday October 15, 2013 at Southern Ohio Medical Center. She was born March 29, 1934 in Portsmouth. She was the daughter of the late Ernest and Erma Weaver Keyser. She was a 1952 graduate of West High School, a former Atomic worker and was a homemaker. Along with her parents Dolores is preceded in death by her husband Thomas Edward Spurlock whom she married on December 6, 1952 in West Portsmouth and who passed away on May 15, 2013, a son in law, James Veach, a brother, Richard Keyser and 2 sisters; Elpha Zuefle and Phyllis Boldman.

Dolores is survived by her 2 daughters; Jane Nichols and husband Brad and Janice Veach all of West Portsmouth, 3 grandchildren; Melissa Veach, Brad Nichols Jr. and James Veach Jr. all of West Portsmouth, 4 great grandchildren; Hayley Sparks, R.J. Sparks, Shaelee Nichols and Gavin Veach all of West Portsmouth. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Saturday, October 19, 2013 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Pastor Pete Shaffer officiating and interment in Scioto Burial Park.
