Dominic P. Vaccaro, 88 of Buena Vista died Sunday October 18, 2015 at his home. He was born April 28, 1927 in Birmingham, Alabama to the late Anthony and Phyllis Licata Vaccaro. Dominic was a retired meat cutter for Giant Foods in Washington D.C. He was a United States Air Force Veteran of the Korean War, a former member of the Nile Township Volunteer Fire Department and attended Cornerstone United Methodist Church. Dominic is survived by his wife Patience Salsbury Vaccaro who he married on June 7, 1958, a brother Anthony Vaccaro of Tampa, FL along with several brothers and sisters in law.

Funeral services will be 12:00 Noon on Friday October 23, 2015 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Owen Applegate officiating. Interment will be in McKendree Cemetery with graveside military rites by the James Dickey Post 23 American Legion.
