Donald Edwin Bradshaw, 76
Donald Edwin Bradshaw, 76, of West Portsmouth died at his home, Friday, December 9, 2005. Don was born November 26, 1929 in Wheelersburg to the late Levi Joseph and Edna Pearl Morgan Bradshaw. He worked at Goodyear/Martin Marietta as a Process Operator for 41 years, served in the US Air Force for 20 years and was a member of American Legion Post 23. He was also a member of Nauvoo Masonic Lodge and the Acacia Club, and served as a member of the West Portsmouth Fire Dept for many years.
Don is survived by his wife Thelma Jean Litz Bradshaw. They were united in marriage on March 27, 1959 at Rehoboth Mission by the late Reverend Ogra Creech. He is also survived by a son Les Bradshaw; two daughters, Lisa (Don) Hadsell and Lori Allen both of Wheelersburg; a brother Douglas (Darlene) Bradshaw of Ocala, FL; two sisters, Joyce (Boone) Coleman of West Portsmouth and Linda (John) Walker of Portsmouth; a sister-in-law Ruby "Dee" Bradshaw; four grandchildren, Brandon, Lindsay, and Kristen Bradshaw and Jacob Tolle; two step grandchildren and 3 step great grandchildren.
Don was preceded in death by three brothers, Robert, Dale and Howard Bradshaw and a sister Margaret Reeder.
Funeral services will be 11 A.M. Wednesday, December 14, 2005 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Pastor Peter Shaffer officiating and interment in Scioto Burial Park with graveside military rites by the James Dickey Post 23 American Legion. Friends may call at the Funeral Home from 4 to 9 on Tuesday and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday. Masonic services will be held by Nauvoo Masonic Lodge at 8 P.M. on Tuesday.
