Donald Crawford, 78

Donald R. "Tiny" Crawford, 78 of West Portsmouth passed away January 13, 2013 at SOMC Hospice surrounded by friends and family. He was born March 28, 1934 in South Webster to the late Robert Henry and Lillian Cook Crawford. Donald was a graduate of Scioto County Vocational School and was retired from SOCF as a superintendent of OPI after 24 years. In 1956 he was drafted into the Army and served in the Army National Guard until 1966. He was a member of the Nauvoo Masonic Lodge #769 and was a loving husband, father and pappaw to all. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 49 years Sarah Ruth "Ruthie" Elizabeth Frailey Crawford, two brothers; Robert Jr. and Carl L. "Nook" Crawford.

Donald is survived by two daughters; Nisa Mingus and Terri Crawford, two grandchildren; Sarah Tilley and Chad Mitchell, 3 great grandchildren; Eli Tilley, Auston Tilley, and Brynndolyn Elizabeth Newman, a sister is law; Eileen "Een" Crawford, and his beloved dog Webster. The family would like to thank SOMC Hospice, Shelley and the staff of Edgewood Manor, Portsmouth Ambulance crew; Jodi Timberlake, Julia and Missy. A special thanks from Terri to the Muddy Buddy Bunch; Pauph, Jodi, Angie, Teresa, Mary, Kelly, Wanda, Bobby and Eugene. Thanks for the love and support from the descendents of Ani Tsalagi.
