Donald Joe Kidder, 79

Donald Joe Kidder, 79 of Otway, went to be with the Lord on September 20, 2021 in the care of SOMC Hospice. He was born march 24, 1942 to the late Herbert and Edna Redmon Kidder.

Joe was a truck driver for over 40 years and attended Safe Haven Church.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a son Herbie Kidder, 4 brothers; Harry, Roscoe, Jim and Lawrence, 4 sisters Eileen Colley, Colleen Shope, Mildred Jennings and Margaret Taylor.

Joe is survived by his fiance and former wife Linda Sue Johnson, 4 sons; Donald Jr., David, Tony and Jerry Kidder, a sister Joan Mattox, Several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and special friends; Rebecca Stiltner and Jamie Stephens.

Funeral services will be 7:00 PM Saturday September 25, 2021 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth, with Jack Howard officiating and interment in Berea Chapel Cemetery.
