Donald L. Kuhn, 86
Donald L. Kuhn, 86 of West Portsmouth died Thursday August 30, 2012 at Southern Ohio Medical Center. He was born October 23, 1925 in Scioto County to the late Charles and Carrie Cannaday Kuhn. He was retired from Midland Grocery and was a Navy WWII veteran serving on the USS Kwajalein. He was also a member of Carey's Run Church of Christ. Along with his parents Donald was preceded in death by a brother Robert Kuhn and a sister Ruth Grubb.
Donald is survived by his wife Lorene Sartin Kuhn who he married on November 28, 1948, a daughter Rhonda (Paul) DuPuy of Boonesmill, Va., and a son Randal (Pamela) Kuhn of West Portsmouth, 3 grandsons; Justin Kuhn of Portsmouth, Christopher DuPuy of Boonesmill, Va. and Joshua DuPuy of Colorado.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Sunday September 2, 2012 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with James Osborne officiating. Interment will be in McKendree Cemetery with graveside military rites by James Dickey Post # 23 American Legion. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday starting at Noon.
