Donald Eugene Maynard, 74

Donald Eugene Maynard, 74 of Portsmouth, died Friday, January 26, 2018 at his home.  He was born September 10, 1943 in Logan County to the late James Walter and Pearl Epling Maynard Sr.  He was a United States Army Veteran where he served two tours in Vietnam.  He was retired from the City of Portsmouth.  Donald was a member of the James Dickey Post 23 American Legion and the Portsmouth Eagles.  Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother James Walter Maynard Jr.

Donald is survived by 2 daughters; Cindy Bradford of Portsmouth and Ashley Chestnut of California, a sister Minnie Chapman of Columbus, 4 grandchildren; Kala Pinson, Tyler Bradford, Evan Johnson and Adlie Johnson and 1 great grandchild; Rosie Pinson.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Chad Benner officiating.
