Donna Jean Ervin,

88 Donna Jean Ervin, 88 of West Portsmouth, died Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at SOMC Hospice. She was born September 14, 1934 in Columbus to the late Daniel Arthur and Thelma Ann Mincer Fields.

Donna was retired from Mercy Hospital and was a member of Dry Run Church of Christ.

Along with her parents, Donna was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, John Eugene Ervin Sr., whom she married on August 4, 1953, a brother, Daniel Arthur Fields Jr., and a grandchild Michelle Lynn Ervin.

Donna is survived by 2 sons: John Eugene (Mary) Ervin Jr. and Michael Keith Ervin (Karen), 3 daughters: Connie Sue (Artie) Wise, Sherry Jane Ervin (Tim), and Melissa Kay (Patrick) DiSantis, a sister Catherine Hirst, 10 grandchildren: Ryan Eric and Aaron Ervin, Jessica Adams Christina Slusher Bethany Tuttle, Michael Ervin II, Brian Eichenlaub Jr., Stacy Swords and Alissa Hammond, along with 20 great grandchildren, 7 nieces and a special friend Jerry DeArmond.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Monday, December 12, 2022 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Mark Seevers officiating. Interment will be in Scioto Burial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday starting at 11:00 AM. The family requests that donations be made to SOMC Hospice in Donna's name.
