Donna June O'Brien Roark, 78

Donne June O'Brien Roark, 78 of West Portsmouth died Friday April 20, 2018 at SOMC Hospice. She was born June 7, 1939 in Portsmouth to the late Howard and Alma Pierce O'Brien. Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her son Bob Roark Jr.

Donna was a 1957 graduate of Portsmouth High School and was a dedicated EMT Volunteer with Squad 9 of West Portsmouth for 24 years, and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Washington Township Volunteer Fire Department.

Donna is survived by her husband of 58 years, Robert Roark whom she married on October 10, 1959, a daughter Lisa Horn, 3 grandchildren; Michael Roark (Ashley Bricker), Katie Roark, and Brynden Roark, 2 great grandchildren; M.J. and Ashlyn Roark all of West Portsmouth.

Donna Had many friends and loved the Adult Day Care Center on Market Street in Portsmouth, Ohio.

Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday April 24, 2018 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Pastor Pete Shaffer officiating and interment in Scioto Burial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday starting at 11:00 AM. The family requests that donations be made to SOMC Hospice or USSA, Inc, Adult Day Service in Donna's name.
