Doris Riffe, 79
Doris Riffe, 79 of Lucasville died Thursday, December 21, 2006 at Southern Ohio Medical Center. Doris was born April 24, 1927 in Adams County to the late Illie A. and Lucy G. Hayslip Weghorst. She was a homemaker and attended Candy Run Wesleyan Tabernacle.
She is survived by her husband Harold Riffe; four sons Jerry (Mickey) Barnett of St. Louis, Greg (Ruth) Cooper of Stout, Tony Cooper of Stout and Kevin (Tracy) Riffe of Lucasville, a daughter, Doris Baker of McDermott; a brother, Fredrick Weghorst of Mackletree; two sisters, Myrtle (Glenn) Gifford of Buena Vista and Thelma (Ronald) Kersey of West Union; 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Doris was preceded in death by two brothers Glenn and Leon Weghorst and a son-in-law Daniel Baker
Funeral services will be 1 P.M. Saturday, December 23, 2006 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Grace Bloomfield and Andrew Ramey officiating. Friends may call at the Funeral Home from 10 A.M. to 1 P.M. on Saturday. Condolences may be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com.
