Dorothy Francis Humphrey, 94

Dorothy Francis Humphrey, 94 of West Portsmouth, died Saturday February 22, 2014 at her home. She was born November 23, 1919 in West Virginia to the late Garrison and Annis Cox Ramey. She was retired from Williams Shoe Manufacturing with 31 years of service. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband James Bennett Humphrey who she married in 1941 and 6 brothers and sisters. Dorothy is survived by her son Jim Humphrey and his wife Jan of West Portsmouth, a grandson James Garrison Humphrey and a granddaughter Tracy Lynn Tackett both of West Portsmouth, a brother Edward Ramey of Phoenix, AZ , a sister Rosena Fisher of Garrison, Ky., 3 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Wednesday February 26, 2014 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
