Douglas Alan Charles, 50

Douglas Alan Charles, 50 of West Portsmouth died Thursday, December 14, 2017 at his home.  He was born May 6, 1967 in Portsmouth to the late Harold and Freda "Ruth" Campbell Charles who survives.  Along with his father, he is preceded in death by a sister, Beverly Lykins.  He was a member of Nauvoo Masonic Lodge #769 and Bricklayers Union #39.

Along with his mother, Doug is survived by a daughter; Courtney (Nick) Antonaros, 2 grandchildren; Aubrey and Jordan Antonaros, a niece; Jennifer Souders, and a nephew; David Lykins.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home with Pastor Pete Shaffer officiating and interment in Berea Chapel Cemetery.  Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 to 8:00 PM on Monday and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.  A Masonic Service will be held at 8:00 PM on Monday, conducted by the Nauvoo Masonic Lodge #769.
