Earl B. Purcell, 89
Earl B. Purcell, 89 of Minford died Saturday, February 5, 2005 at Golden Years Convalescent Center. He was born July 26, 1915 in Nicholas County, Kentucky to the late Russell and Maude Lee Harney Purcell. He was a retired Truck Driver and Farmer. He was a steel worker and also a WWII Army Veteran

He was preceded in death by his wife Esther Gaunce Percell. Earl is survived by three sons, Gerald Purcell of Minford, Garland Bradley Purcell of West Union and James Clay Purcell of Sarasota, Florida; one daughter, Carolyn Joyce Gallion of Wheelersburg; one sister, Mary Ruth Payne of London and seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister Dorothy Violet Purcell and a half brother James Hamilton.

Funeral services will be held 1 P.M. Tuesday, February 8, 2005 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Reverend Matthew Brooks officiating and interment in Scioto Burial Park. Friends may call at the Funeral Home from 6 to 8 P. M. on Monday and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday. Condolences may be sent to
