Edith Charlene (Howland) Hall, 85

Edith Charlene (Howland) Hall, 85, died Friday, July 24, 2026, at her home. She was born February 22, 1941, in Greenup County, Kentucky, to the late Russell and Carrie (Bundy) Howland. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald E. Hall, whom she married on January 22, 1961; three brothers, Merle, Jimmy, and Carl Howland; and a sister, Patty Pistole.

Edith absolutely loved celebrating life’s special occasions. Birthday parties were especially dear to her, and she looked forward to gathering with her family for Thanksgiving and Christmas. She found great joy in the traditions, laughter, and togetherness that made every celebration memorable.

She is survived by a son, Ronnie Hall Jr.; a daughter, Rhonda (Brent) Hall-Koenig; a grandson, Jason (Dani) Koenig; two great-grandchildren, Aubree and Rollins Koenig; four sisters, Sue Wolfe, Linda Ratliff, Ann Yates, and Rita Schuler; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM. Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth, with Brother Arthur Moore officiating. Interment will follow at Mt.
