Edith "Eydie" Marie Bailey, 76

Edith Marie Bailey, 76 of Portsmouth died Friday December 24, 2021 at Grant Medical Center. She was born July 14, 1945 in Portsmouth to the late Hiram Wayne and Bertha Riddlebarger White.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Jack White and a sister Olive Smith. Edith was a graduate of Minford High School class of 1963.

She is survived by her husband, John Bailey; a son, Chris Ratliff (Jill McCormick); 2 daughters, Jennifer (Tony) Ward, and Lorie (Brad) Partlow; and a special friend, like a son, Dr. Jamey Herbst; 7 grandchildren, Kayla Ward-Brown, Kelsey (Drew) Jarvis, Levi Ratliff, Laiken (Matthew) Richardson, Jade Ratliff, Blake Partlow, and Eli Tilley; 2 great grandchildren, Korbin and Kenzington Brown; a sister, Penny (Jim) Cornette; a sister in law, Dianna White and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, January 8, 2022 at Scioto Burial Park in McDermott. Arrangements are under the direction of the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth. Condolences may be sent to www.rogerwdavisfunealhome.com.
